Design Engineer
This position not currently available
Structural engineering designer for residential buildings. Design headers, columns, beams, footings, pads, reinforced concrete, stick frame roof, use of CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and several engineering programs. Knowledge of lateral and vertical load paths.
Technical designer will work with CAD drawings from architects, create calculations reports and structural drawings.
Basic engineering classes include statics and strength of materials.
Ideal for someone who wishes to keep up their engineering knowledge. Work with knowledgeable engineers.
Full or part time position. BS in civil engineering with structural emphasis required.
Office provided with computer equipment.
Compensation relative to industry standards.
